There is a famous saying in the economics, “There is no free lunch in this world”. Initially I found it very hard to digest but when I tried to think about it, I found it very apt for this gola (planet)!
We have to kill several miniatures (if not big animals!) to walk, sit, build
houses ,dance etc. for our many needs and wants. We cannot live without harming
planet or other species on this planet. We might have killed (directly and
Indirectly triggered) Millions of Insects and animals to live our life.
Father and mother’s relationship is considered as an epitome
of relations, still we can see some selfish Intentions into it like Child will
take care of us, child will accept whatever we say. Imagine you are not giving
anything back (money, respect, care, love etc) to your parents and see if they are
the same? (Sorry if it is hard but it is quite real. If you are getting the same
love despite not giving anything back, welcome to the rare lucky club!)
Other relationships like partners, friends and all depends on
what you give back to them in return. That exchange could be anything, but the
point is you have to give something back. Your relationship depends upon how
good you are in exchanging! surprisingly in today’s society, we often hear
words like “we have to give feast to the society as we have participated in
their feast earlier. We have to give this much of gold/money back into their
functions because they have given this much in mine functions !!”
We help people because we like it. We won’t help if we
don’t like it?
I want to be you because your presence and
company makes me feel good and valuable. He/she won’t spend time with you
when you stop making them feeling good! All relationships work like machineries.
Once you stop pouring fuel or electricity, it will stop functioning.
Life will be peaceful when you start accepting this very
nature of this planet.
If you are performing your part honestly and try to maximize
it to the people during the so called worldly exchanges, it is when the actual
selflessness starts. You don’t need to spend your everything for the world to
become selfless, though there are very rare rich (by heart) people/species who
does it silently. If you get such gems in your life, you are the luckiest
person ever.
The crux is, No doubt you will get happiness from people,
relationships and worldly things but up to the certain level. You must start
looking inside to unleash that “Limitless treasure of Happiness”.
Peace,
